Terms of Service

The service

Tuneoke lets you turn madlib answers, a custom description, or a surprise prompt into a song with karaoke-style playback. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

You need an account to generate songs. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Tuneoke. You must be at least 18 years old to buy credits.

Credits and payments

One Tuneoke credit equals one song generation. New accounts receive 3 free credits once. You may buy additional one-time packs. Pack prices and credit amounts are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

We debit 1 credit only after our music generation provider successfully starts a job. If that start fails, we do not charge a credit. If generation starts successfully, the credit is spent even if you navigate away, close the tab, or the finished song is not to your taste.

If a friend creates a new account from your share link, we may grant you 1 extra credit, subject to our referral limits. We do not credit self-referrals or repeat signups from the same friend.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Credits and packs are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Your content and generated songs

You keep whatever rights you already have in the text you submit. You grant Kippis Studios Inc. a license to use that content to operate Tuneoke: generate audio and lyrics, store your songs, show them in My Songs, and serve unlisted listen and download links you share.

Subject to these Terms and the terms of our generation providers, we grant you a license to play, download, and share songs created in your account for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for how you use and share them. Generated output can be similar to other material, and we do not promise that a song is unique or that you own all intellectual property in it.

Completed songs are available on unlisted links. Anyone with the link can listen or download. Treat those links like anything else you would only send to people you trust.

Acceptable use

You may not use Tuneoke to:

• Violate the law or anyone else's rights
• Submit sexual content involving minors, or exploit children
• Generate hateful, harassing, or violent content
• Impersonate others or mislead people about who made a song
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the service
• Circumvent credit, referral, or abuse limits

We may remove content, withhold credits, or suspend accounts that we believe violate these Terms.

Third-party services

Sign-in, payments, hosting, analytics, music generation, and lyric timing depend on third parties (including Clerk, Stripe, Suno, Anthropic, and others). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the parts they provide. We are not responsible for outages or changes on those services.

Disclaimers

Tuneoke is provided "as is." Song quality, lyrics, timing, and availability can vary. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kippis Studios Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Tuneoke is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us.

Termination

You may stop using Tuneoke at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we shut down or change the service. Unused credits have no cash value and may be forfeited if your account is closed, except where the law says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the product. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
